Thanksgiving is a very important celebration in the United States, It's on the fourth Thursday of November. People travel many long distances to be with their families on that day and the long weekend.
They prepare a special Thanksgiving dinner. They eat turkey with stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. There is always a football game on TV in the evening and all the men watch it.
